Initially it looked bulky but then as I started using, it got a bit malleable. I like the compartments--they are really useful. I have a laptop that is 17 inch width and 12 inch height and it fits well.

Because I carry a "month-at-a-glance" black binder and not a blackberry, this briefcase is great. There are numerous compartments for my 'little black book" of appointments as well as files, keys, cell phone. The leather is soft and I have the option of a shoulder bag as well. As for the price, it was a great deal for such a high quality item.

This case is of beautiful leather construction and is well designed. Unfortunately though, the dimensions of the bag are from from accurate. The description stated 13x9x4. Actually, it is 18x12x7!!! I was in search of a small leather case for my 13" laptop plus a separate file compartment. I narrowed my selection down to three and decided to go with the Kenneth Cole. But before I did, I even contacted Amazon to absolutely verify the dimensions were accurate because by the photos it seemed larger than the description. However, Amazon assured me that the measurements were accurate so I ordered. And now I'm returning. Unfortunately inaccurate information on the website and misinformation when I inquired resulted in a significant waste of time and waste of shipping costs. But, if you happened upon this product and are looking for a leather case for a 15-16" laptop with many storage compartments, look no further. C'mon Amazon - pay attention to the details and get the descriptions right, please!
